Harry Drew

Saxophone and Backing Vocals The late great sax player from the mid 1950’s Earl Bostic was always a favorite for Harry! So by the mid to late 1960’s and after a few sax lessons and with his parents permission He started playing in clubs while he was only in Jr High School. His short career as a musician had to be put on hold as he took up driving a truck to support his family. After retiring in 2000 he was able to pick up the horn again. Some of the players that stood out for him along the way were, Charlie Parker, Cannonball Aderley, David Sanborn, Michael Breker, Lenny Pickett, and Tom Scott to name a few. God willing He’ll have many years left to enjoy playing! Some of the groups he's been able to work with since the trucking business gave way to the music business: Too many to mention but here are a few that come to mind Johnny Reed & The HouseRockers, The Bellaires, All Horned Up, The Juice, The Bunch Band, Blind Pass, Bob Hanson & Rockhouse, Tim GoodMan & the Rhythm Kings, Bottom Line, Breezin, Live Wire, The BoogieMen, and a new venture with the Wayward Souls.
